TAFE Queensland SkillsTech has partnered with Iplex Pipelines,
Polymer Fusion Technology and Georg Fischer Piping Systems to establish a HDPE
(PE100) Centre of Excellence. The
centre offers the latest HDPE (PE100) training programs for the CSG gas sector
including Butt fusion, Hot Tapping, Squeeze off and Electo fusion. All participants’ butt joints are tested and
stamped with Electro fusion saddles tested under pressure and remaining
pressurized for industry timeframes.
